A drawstring bag is what I learned to make first many years ago. Since then it was a magical pouch that can carry all the most precious things. In my daily life I try my best to surround myself with mindful things, things that radiate love and attention. I may have less but I will have beautiful things because life is too short to live among lifeless clutter.

Awakening embroidery design came about when thinking about cycles of ones lives. We tend to live and get used to one way of living until we realise that with time, we change and the change in life is simply inevitable. So it is about choosing the real, authentic way of being, even if it means change. It is about courage to choose what reflects our hearts and knowing we will have to choose us over and over again.

The embroidery portrays first flowers after the snow. They are not afraid of the few snowflakes, because thye know they have to bloom and so they emerge strong and beautiful no matter what.

The embroidery is designed so you can choose your color placements that best reflect yourself - if you want purple to be ornage and yellow to be silver - that's up to you and it will make the pouch authentically yours!

The pouch is designed to be embroidered on both sides, but you can always embroider one if you run out of patience. 

Awakening pouch is little lined pouch with drawstring closure. The dimensions: H 25cm W 24 cm D 9 cm. Fits one skein of yarn or all of your notions.

The kit is a selection of materials for making the pouch. It includes the embroidery pattern and sewing instructions to make the bag yourself easily at home.

Other tools you will need for the project that are not included:

Sewing machine (optional 0 the pouch can be made by hand as well, here is no complicated sewing involved).

All the materials will be shipped to you together with the instructions and some peel and stick paper with the design printed for transferring the pattern. The pattern also provides few options for transferring the pattern without the peel and stick paper if you don't want to wet your embroidery.
