A drawstring bag is what I learned to make first many years ago. Since then it was a magical pouch that can carry all the most precious things. In my daily life I try my best to surround myself with mindful things, things that radiate love and attention. I may have less but I will have beautiful things because life is too short to live among lifeless clutter.

I often say that my embroidered bags are like little prayers or spells that carry good emotions, attention and care to their forever homes. To start the new year the right way, I thought, I would make you a KIT which would allow you to make your own bag and put good intentions in it.  This is how the Dwelling bag was born: very simple embroidery techniques that achieve decorative effect, blue color for peace, serenity and wisdom, 7 blossoms on each side - for luck, and Lithuanian linen - a rustic natural fabric that has deep traditions and history.

The pouch is designed to be embroidered on both sides, but you can always embroider one if you run out of patience.

Pictus pouch is little lined pouch with drawstring closure. The dimensions: H 25cm W 24 cm D 9 cm. Fits one skein of yarn or all of your notions.

The kit is a selection of materials for making the pouch. It includes the embroidery pattern and sewing instructions to make the bag yourself easily at home.

The kit includes:

DMC Embroidery threads

Embroidery hoop

Embroidery needles (x2)

Facing

Drawstring

Matching sewing thread

Embroidery pattern

Pouch assembling instructions

Other tools you will need for the project that are not included:

Scissors

Iron

Pencil

Ruler

Sewing machine (the pouch can be made by hand as well, as it is a tiny project).

All the materials will be shipped to you together with the instructions and some stabilizer that could be used for transferring the embroidery pattern. Peel and stick paper is not included in the kit to minimize the ecological impact and the price of the kit. The pattern provides few options for transferring the pattern.
