Embroidery is such a precious craft - it takes time and patience to make something wonderful and the result is always pleasing. To me, embroidered items always look special and unique, so I wanted to create something that can become an every day companion, something cozy and dainty for you to keep around.

I called this little pouch ‘treasure’ because the design of it is inspired by Lithuanian traditional wooden dowry chests that kept woven fabrics and belts inside. Also, as crafters, we keep our treasures close to us too.

This project is made completely by hand and is beginner friendly, as the embroidery design contains basic techniques and is assembled by hand.

The instructions will guide you through the process step by step. You’ll find the description of the process, patterns for the embroidery, descriptions of embroidery stitches and tips along the way.
